Privacy
Privacy
CommonCal is designed to be a simple, privacy-conscious tool. This page outlines what information is collected and how it is used.
Information we collect
CommonCal collects limited information.
If you submit a form (such as requesting pilot information), we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email, and school or district.
We may also collect basic usage data to understand how the site is used and to improve the product.
CommonCal may use Google Analytics to collect aggregated usage information, such as pages viewed, device and browser type, general location, and referring sites.
Accounts, payments, and service providers
When you create an account, we collect your email address and maintain records needed to sign you in and determine your calendar access, including subscription status or complimentary access.
We use Supabase for account authentication and database storage, Resend to deliver sign-in emails, Stripe to process payments and manage subscriptions, and Vercel to host CommonCal. These providers process information needed to deliver their services.
Payment details are entered through Stripe’s payment pages. CommonCal does not store your full card number or security code. We maintain identifiers and subscription records needed to connect your payment status to your CommonCal account.
We use this information to provide access, send account and billing messages, answer support requests, and protect the service.
How information is used
Information is used to:
- Respond to inquiries
- Improve the functionality and usability of CommonCal
- Understand general usage patterns
What we do not do
CommonCal does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
CommonCal may use aggregated, non-identifiable insights to understand interest and improve how the product is shared with schools and districts.
Data storage
To request deletion of your account or ask a privacy question, contact jen@commoncal.co. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, or security purposes. Cancel your subscription through Manage billing to stop future renewals.
Changes
This policy may be updated as CommonCal evolves.
